Merry Christmas.

A Christmas gift from us to all of you. The artists are Cloverton Music and they are amazing. They have taken the song "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen, and given it new words for the Christmas Season. One of the most beautiful versions we have ever heard. This one is a keeper. Enjoy and Merry Christmas.

God the Creator Has a Plan for Us

Introductions Are In Order
This blog is going to be a joint effort. I'm Judy and Gina, my sister, will be co-authoring the articles you find here. Gina was pretty much raised by our grandparents and it's only these last few years that we have really come to know each other. During our long conversations on the phone we realized that both of us had something to offer this world; our faith, our beliefs, and our love. We both know that God the Creator has a plan for us.

When This All Started
The idea for this blog started many months ago but we weren't quite sure how we would get it off the ground and put it all together. We've had many conversations since this all started and we learned that we weren't so different after all. Our belief systems are from two completely different traditions and yet they meld in so many ways. We realize that we may not always agree with each other but we do respect each other.

We were both raised so differently. Gina pretty much grew up in the Catholic faith but as she grew older she found something much deeper. I now see my sister as a teacher in the Lord's army and He speaks to her so she can teach you his words. She is a Christian and her belief has come from long conversations with God and she knows that he will always guide her in the right direction. Gina's faith is pure and simple and she has now come here to share that faith with all of you.

I on the other hand was raised by my mother. When I was a young child we went to church every Sunday but I suspected that something was terribly wrong; something was missing. As I grew older I was left on my own to make my own assumptions. I was drawn to the old ways of the Native American traditions. I believe in our connection to this earth, our universe and Mother Nature. I too believe the Creator has a plan for us and I want to share with you what I have learned. I see myself as a caretaker, trying to preserve what is left of our earth and home.

What You Need To Know
Neither of us believes in the God of organized religion. God the Creator is not an angry, vengeful deity that tells us he loves us one minute and then threatens punishment the next. Neither of us know this God. Faith in the Creator is not complicated. It's simple and pure. There are no mysteries because He will always answer every question and guide us in our decisions. The God we know is a loving, gentle Father.

Gina's Bible is her greatest possession. He directs her to the passages she needs to study and he advises her on how to interpret these lessons and include them into her daily life.  Like any good teacher he doesn't stop until she gets it right. Time is not an issue. He wants her to understand what his plan is for her and how he wants her to share it with all of you.

My lessons come from the earth itself. It is a living entity and the Creator speaks to me through his creation. My classroom is a few steps from my back door and my church is anywhere my feet take me. Mother Nature has a way of guiding me to where I need to be. I want everyone to understand that the earth is a gift that needs to be appreciated and protected at all costs.

Are You Up For The Challenge?
Gina and I have joined here to pass on to you what we have learned throughout our lifetimes. We don't ask you to take what we write as gospel. We want you to use it as a guide for your own studies.

We want you to come away with a better understanding of what God has planned for us. The Creator has given us all a challenge and what we do with that challenge is up to each individual person.

If Gina and I can help one person understand what life is supposed to be all about, then we will have accomplished what we set out to do.
